I have a 10 month old and I am a stay at home mom. New to my area. Does anyone have any suggestions on how not to get burnt out? I feel like I have Cabin Fever and I am literally about to have a nervous break down from doing the same thing EVERY day! My son is on a good schedule and i like that. but it feels so monotinous. We have a pool and we'll go swimming and do different activities every day but as far as feedings, nap time, bath time and bed time goes its a schedule. I just feel alone sometimes because I am at home with a baby and dont have the adult interaction until my husband gets home from work. I love my son very much, but I am getting bored and its sad to say that, but its true. We have no mom clubs where i live because its such a small town. My husband and I rarely get out by ourselves. We have spent one night without him and that was 4 months ago. The last time we had a date night was over a month ago. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG? DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO FIX THIS?
I was almost in the same situation. I tried so hard until I found a class for my daughter and I love to go there. There are some classes in adault schools, YMCA, Gymboree, My Gym, Library,...
My daughter loves her classes too...Hope you can find one in your neighborhood.
But about relation with husband, I'm in the same situation and I couldn't find any thing to fix it.But after interacting with other moms I feel so much better.
Where do you live? I know here in our town in the summer they have alot of activities in the summer for young children and they are helpful especially if your child doesn;t get much interaction with other children.
I can totally relate... I have a 2 year daughter and I was getting to where our days were on repeat. I was pulling my hair out!!.. In my area I did find a Gymboree type place called "My Gym" and that was fun. Since I was in the workforce for soo many years it was hard to sit at home. I found a great business opportunity to do from home. Its a group called The M.O.M. Team, and we have teamed up with a Wellness store. This store has everything you need to change your home into a safe environment for your family and kids. Doesn't hurt to make a little extra money as well, (especially now). The M.O.M. Team gets together and share our experiences and similar stories. Its Great!!..
If you're still looking for suggestions... go to the mall. They usually have fun play areas for the little ones there. My daughters love them. Our mall actually has this train that goes around the ifrst floor of the mall and they adore it! :) We sometimes take road trips to see family or go for walks to the park or out for ice cream when it's warm out. My girls love to be outside so even throwing some toys outside and sitting on the patio while they play in the yard is entertaining enough for them and the fresh air is awesome for me. :)
