Daddy & Me: Special Gifts For Father's Day

Father’s Day is a wonderful opportunity for children to share a special moment with their fathers and show how much they love them. Being a dad, much like being a mom, is no easy feat, and it is important to recognize the hard work, care, and love men around the world pour into their children’s lives. Here are a few fun and unique ideas that will make great gifts for dad for his special day.

Daddy Art Screensaver/Desktop

This is a great project that both mom and child can partake in to remind dad how much he’s loved every day of the year. Have your child create various types of artwork on paper: drawings, handprints, paintings, etc. Once you have a nice collection, mom can scan the images into dad’s computer and set them as his screensaver. Now, whenever the screensaver appears, dad can marvel at how loved he is by his child, as well as how talented his little one is.

The Daddy Show

Give dad a front row seat to a show produced just for him. Mom and child can put together a few different performance ideas and set it up like a real show. Anything from singing, dancing, acting, or storytelling will make dad feel wonderful inside. You can even videotape it so dad can always watch his child’s special performance anytime and as many times as he wants.
