An afternoon at the circus is fun for everyone!

There's something for everyone at the circus: clowns, trapeze artists, tightrope walkers, animals, and much more. With multiple rings and hundreds of performers, today's circuses are a blend of traditional big-top acts and theatrical pieces. The look on your child's face as he or she is mesmerized by performing pachyderms or high-flying trapeze artists is more than worth the price of admission!

Step by Step:
  1. There will be a lot to see, so avoid sensory overload by pointing out specific performers and animals to your child.
  2. Ask lots of questions. "T is the first letter of tiger. What sound does a tiger make?"
  3. Encourage your child to mimic the movement of specific animals.
  4. Ask your child to point out certain items, mentioning their color, for example Who is wearing the red coat? Show me the green striped tent?
  5. Ask your child to name all of his or her favorite circus animals.
