Paint together - Have fun together!
Description:
An exciting way to teach colors resulting in a "painting" worthy of display right in the center of the refrigerator door for everyone to admire.
Step by Step:
- Place a large sheet of drawing paper on a table covered with newspaper.
- Have your budding artist put blobs of different colors of non-toxic fingerpaints here and there. Be sure to name the colors as they are being used,"blue, red, yellow, orange, green!"
- Fold the paper over in half. Now the colors are on the inside.
- Have your little artist pass his hand over the clean surface.
- Carefully unfold the paper and voila!! A masterpiece has been created.
- Add a few "scratching marks" with the end of a spoon or how about using fingertips. He will just love the squishy feeling. Your child's hand may be messy, but his face will be beaming (and so will yours.) Not to worry - all you need is a little soap and water.
