Your child's imagination kicks into full gear when she pretends to be a cat, dog, worm, or any of her favorite animals.
Step by Step:
| 1. | Show your child an animal picture or toy. |
| 2. | Make the corresponding sound - quack like a duck, oink or snort like a pig, cluck like a chicken, or moo like a cow. |
| 3. | Ask your child to copy the sound. |
| 4. | Talk about each animal - where it lives, what it looks like, what it likes to eat, whether it sleeps during the daytime or at night, and so on. |
