Step by Step:
1. Instead of throwing away an old plastic tablecloth, use it for your little ones art projects that way you can protect your table surface and still have lots of room for creativity.
2. Get some fingerpainting paper/paints and show your child how to spread the paint around on the paper.
3. Use your imagination in creating craft projects, and don't worry about the mess.

Plastic tablecloth
Smock
Washable, non-toxic finger paints
