Description:
Whether it is the exhilaration a toddler feels when beating on a bevy of kitchen pots, or the way a familiar tune can soothe a crying infant, music is a powerful influence in every child's life.
In addition to the joy it brings, music is also important to a child's development by strengthening the ability to concentrate, increasing coordination through movement, and encouraging language development through exposure to new words and patterns.
Step by Step:
| 1. | Glue, paint, or color on white paper plates. |
| 2. | Fold plate in half and put beans or whatever makes noise inside of the plate. |
| 3. | Staple shut leaving a small opening. |
| 4. | Put red, white, and blue streamers in the opening at the bottom so they hang out. |
| 5. | Staple shut and make some noise. |
