Swimming with the guppies....
Description:
Whether you have a backyard pool or go to a public facility, swimming is a favorite summertime activity. Climbing on Daddy's slippery shoulders or being twirled through the water by strong arms delights kids young and old. The security of having you nearby soothes even the most aqua-phobic children. Before long you'll be playing all sorts of water games with the little guppies.
For safety's sake, check with your local Y or other facility for scheduled swimming classes and turn that into a weekly event the rest of the summer.
Also, be sure to explain safe swimming rules and don't ever let your child out of your sight when they are near the water.
