A great way to prepare children for going to school
Description:
Going to pre-school is a big step in a child's life, so get them ready by roll playing. Set up a pretend school by gathering books, art supplies and using stuffed animals as fellow students. Take turns playing teacher and watch as the child gains confidence. Take your child with you to look at the new school. If the child still appears anxious, roll play. Pretend you are the worried student and have your child be the parent. Your child just may teach you how to assist them through their fears.
